There is a drastic difference in price for a rear end because of the many special add-ons, customizations and additions you can make to the rear end itself. You could add; double adjustable billet coilover shocks for an additional $250, E-Stop push button electric stopping brake for $569 or a PRO-G IRS braking kit for $851, rod end kit $294, inner fenders $100, ridetech shockwave $1,000, ridepro 4 way standard analog system $1,225, ridepro 4 way standard with 5 gallon tank $1,425. So it all depends on how you want to customize your vehicle.
Keep in mind that all suspension upgrades fluctuate with the current market prices and changes in the economy. Also, all suspensions have to get an alignment after installation. That is an additional cost that fluctuates with time, availability, inflation and market changes as well.
